A Charlotte, North Carolina native now rooted in Detroit, Yvette Simone began singing in her church's adult choir at just 12 years old. That early calling grew into a lifelong ministry — she has shared the stage with gospel greats including Pastor Shirley Caesar, Pastor Hezekiah Walker, and the NC Mass Choir, performed live twice on the Steve Harvey Morning Show, and in February 2020 opened the CIAA Men's Semi-Final Championship singing the Black National Anthem.
Ordained for more than 25 years, Yvette was elevated to Overseer in the Lord's Church at UCODA (United Churches of Deliverance Apostolic International, Inc.) under Bishop Dwight Dobbins, Sr. She is also the founder of C & K Records and Dolly Doll Enterprises, LLC.
