About the Singer
Yvette Simone’s debut CD titled ‘ALL THE GLORY BELONGS TO GOD” is the epitome of all that she has endured throughout her life as she gives God all the glory for delivering her thru. Yvette’s musical journey began at an early age as she grew up in a musical home. Her mother the late Charlesetta Clemmons was a classical pianist and her father the late Emra “Coty” Clemmons was an original member of the springfield, MA recording Doo-Wop group The Mint Juleps (The Dreamtones). After her family relocated to NC. her father then formed a Gospel Quartet group where she developed a love and passion for gospel music.
Yvette began singing in the church adult choir at the age of 12 and from middle school thru college her love for gospel music continued to develop. Yvette has been able to sing with some of the greats of gospel music, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Pastor Hezekiah Walker, NC. Mass Choir and she performed live on the Steve Harvey Morning show.

Yvette is known for her authentic, grateful sound because she lives the life she sings. She believes her life is being told through her lyrics of each selection. So no matter what you are going thru “All The Glory Belongs To God.”
