Yvette Simone is a Charlotte, North Carolina native now residing in the Detroit, MI area.  She began singing in the church adult choir at the age of 12 and from middle school thru college her love for gospel music continued to develop. Yvette has been able to sing with some of the greats of gospel music, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Pastor Hezekiah Walker, NC. Mass Choir, she performed live twice on the Steve Harvey Morning show and February 2020, she opened the CIAA Men’s Semi-Final Championship game singing the Black National Anthem.

More than an artist, Yvette Simone is a Praise and worship leader, psalmist, and a motivational speaker and above all considers herself as a servant of the Most High God.  Yvette has been ordained for over 25 years and was recently elevated to an Overseer in the Lord’s Church during Holy Convocation at (UCODA) United Churches of Deliverance Apostolic International, Inc. June 17, 2023, under the leadership of Bishop Dwight Dobbins, Sr. in Southfield, MI. 

Along with her EP release in September 2019, she won the Gospel Image People's Choice Award-Female Gospel Artist, Charlotte, NC., October 5th, 2019. Her first single “Won’t He Do it” Hit top 25 on the Gospel Charts right at the beginning of the pandemic.  But Yvette has not given up on her vision by releasing another single Sept. 2022 “I’m In It.” She is currently working on her new Album “I’m Finished, But I’m Not Done,” and just released another single “Blessin Me” July, 2023. 

Yvette Simone is known for her authentic, grateful sound because she lives the life she sings. She believes her life is being told through her lyrics of each selection. Her prayer is that these songs will minister to you and remind you that the sufferings of this present time are not worth being compared to the glory which shall be revealed in us.
